Understanding your role as parents in youth sports.
Youth sport has the potential to provide our children with: a life-long appreciation for fitness, self-confidence, physical skills and virtues associated with sportsmanship. However, studies show that these attributes are not inherent in sport. They must be taught and reinforced.
In this two-hour, interactive workshop, participants will learn what it means to be a 'Good Sport Parent' and how we can take steps to ensure that the potential benefits of youth sport are being realized.
